Greg Murray has been seeing the world through a camera lens since the age of ten. Greg's father built him his first darkroom at twelve years old and sparked the beginning of a photographic journey. Whilst living In Australia in his early twenties, Greg decided to turn his obsession for photography and technology into a career. After studying photojournalism at the Australian College of Journalism, Greg moved to Edmonton, Alberta to assist various commercial photographers and gain practical experience in traditional photographic and lighting techniques. Realizing that digital photography was the way of the future, Greg founded Lightspeed Digital in the year 2000. Lightspeed's mission has always been to combine traditional photographic techniques with the best in digital technology and equipment. This innovative combination allows Lightspeed to provide high quality services with efficiency and versatility that can't be matched. Lightspeed's photography and imaging services are now 100% digital and the company hasn't used film and chemicals in over 6 years. After 4 years in Calgary, Lightspeed has re-located to beautiful Vancouver Island and will continue to offer world class photography services from a new office and studio. We photograph product, people, machines, and places with professional digital cameras. Custom images are created for use in magazines, brochures, newspapers, websites, and displays.
