The Process
1. Discover- It is very important to first figure out what your websites' purpose will be. Will the site sell something, promote a service, teach something, be an online portfolio, or just show photos? Who will be using this site? We firmly belive that websites should be designed for use. This means that the most important person in the whole process is the end user. When someone visits your site are they finding what they are looking for, are they satisfied with the online experience you have created for them? If they are, they will be back, simple as that. It is very important to get clear on what you're doing and who it's for before you start.

2. Design- Design is the fun part of the process. What will the site look like? What colors, photos and graphics will be used. In this phase we will typically create two or three mock ups pages so we, and you, can get an idea of what the site will look like when it's complete.

3. Development- This is where the majority of the programming time is spent. All of the pages are sorted out and the navigation is created. Images and graphics are added and all of the other content is assembled. At the end of the development phase the site should work completely and all the content, images, links and navigation should be complete. This is also where the search engine optimization process begins.

4. Testing- This part isn't fun but it's very important. Testing the site with different users will uncover any issues or problems which may have been missed during design and development. Does the site work and make the users happy.

5. Launch- Finally all the bugs are worked out, your test users enjoyed their experience and the site works perfectly. Now is the time to show it off and send it into the real world. Useing special tools to track the success of the site and provide search engine optimization is our job here. Your site will get noticed.
