News:Fashion Retailer Myntra to roll out offline experience zones soon

Mumbai: The application-only fashion e-tailer Myntra may roll out touch-and-feel experience zones in the next 12 to 18 months.

The e-commerce giant Myntra is considering to expand its presence pass the online stores to physical stores to serve its customers better.

According to Ananth Narayan, Chief Executive, although the company has no immediate plans, but next year there might be some development on this front.

With this latest development, Myntra will join other e-commerce majors such as Pepperfry, Zivame, Firstcry and Flipkart who already have physical presence to shine out amongst the mushrooming e-tailers.

Apart from this, Myntra has also launched a Fashion Network for its consumers as well as brands to boost its sales and ensure customer engagement.

If reports are to be believed, this Bengaluru-based firm is clocking a gross merchandise volume at an incredible annual rate of almost Rs. 3,335 Cr ($ 500 Million). This indicates towards a tremendous growth rate of almost 66% over the last year.

Not just that, in about six months, the e-commerce giant is eyeing to get a GMV runrate of a whopping $ 1billion mark.
