Paytm, a digital payment and an online marketplace, has come up with an initiative to help sellers grow their business, called as Paytm Force.

Under this initiative, around 3000 trained and certified e-commerce specialist will offer end-to-end services such as order fulfilment, catalogue creation, and query resolution and order management. These services will be available to the sellers at their doorstep on the said time and date at a subsidised rate by the volunteers.

According to the AVP, Business at Paytm, Sudhanshu Gupta, the company has run the pilot projects in the cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai which turned out quite well for the sellers. This initiative will also create employment opportunities for the Paytm Force executives as they would charge some fee for the advice.

The company’s competitors – Flipkart and Snapdeal also have similar programmes to entice the sellers on their online platforms. Last year, in September, Snapdeal went ahead with its SD Advisor programme, where the personal advisors helped the sellers to bring their business online, shared market insights, trained them, and also planned their promotions and prepared joint business plans.
